Face Masks and the Importance of print and color

When the COVID 19 suddenly impacted the whole world. With the shortage of face masks people were trying to figure out how to provide/produce proper PPE  for essential workers and our front liners. With the shortage of  face masks along with many community members of  Richmond Virginia I decided to become  member of  RVA masks for health. We covered requests with specific guidelines from hospitals, front liners, retirement homes pretty much all essential workers needs.

I noticed that each facility had style & color requirements. However they would utilize whatever was offered when it came to color or print. As the masks became the norm it was evident, at least for me, that since it had become mandatory to wear it indoors specifically, it became an accessory that impacted our choices in buying  the perfect fabric (if stitching it yourself) Tried picking out the print, color and style that resonated with us the most.

These are some of the prints I used for stitching for my kids and for the facilities that required them.
