fakeha aasim: As a Textile Designer, I look constantly for inspiration to create designs and patterns in print media and weaving. My work is a constant stream of exploration in various media and coming up with something out of the box. I do have deep love for textiles in apparel and bed linen so most of my designs actually cater to those areas, including design mappings. My recent project came up called the The Green Parrot Jewelry design along the way while I was weaving metal wires in to a fabric I was weaving. It first led to some textile sculptures to textile jewelry to finally metal. work.
